Title IX Deputy Coordinator
Bio
As Deputy Title IX Coordinator, Kira-Marie Wimbert brings a passionate, proactive approach to fostering equity, safety, and inclusion across campus. Originally from Germany, she came to the United States as an international student and Division I student-athlete, experiences that have shaped her resilience, leadership, and commitment to excellence.
Kira-Marie holds a Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Communications and Rhetorical Studies from Syracuse University, as well as a Master鈥檚 degree in Sport Management, a Sport Security Certificate, and an MBA from the University of Southern Mississippi. Her diverse educational background informs her comprehensive and strategic approach to Title IX compliance.
Prior to her current role, she spent two and a half years as a Marketing Graduate Assistant in the Title IX office, where she played a key role in educational programming, policy communication, and outreach initiatives. Today, she continues to build on that foundation by supporting investigations, facilitating training, and promoting a campus culture grounded in respect and accountability.
